Successful geothermal workshop for journalists held in West Java

The main aim of the workshop is to aid journalists by introducing them into the geothermal industry and eventually help expand the promotion of the industry. The workshop is being delivered by top geothermal experts.

The workshop was held as an effort to introduce geothermal energy to journalists. In fact, to further introduced, the committee presents a geothermal experts from ITB, Ali ashat, GM Policy & Public Affairs Chevron Geothermal Ltd, Paul Mustakim, the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Geothermal Association (ICMA), Darel Herman Ibrahim and Head of Energy and Mineral Resources of West Java Province delegated to the Head of the Office of Oil and Gas Geothermal Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of West Java, Ahmad HS FadilahSumarwan Greetings and Chairman Imam Prihandiyoko ISPs.

Head of the Office of Oil and Gas Geothermal Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Jabar Ahmad Fadilah said, the role of journalists in providing an understanding of the geothermal community is very influential. Moreover, the diversity of people’s perception of the current geothermal.

“I think the journalists are very big influence in giving sense to the public. Hopefully with this workshop can unify the public perception of geothermal, “he said.
