Experience the geothermal development in Turkey first hand with this fantastic field trip organised by Ormat in conjunction with the IGC Turkey Geothermal Congress in Izmir, Turkey. Organised by Ormat, it will show several geothermal plants in the region around Izmir.

Organizing the IGC Türkiye 2016 geothermal congress in Izmir, Turkey, we are thrilled to announce this exciting field trip.

See first hand some of the plants that have helped Turkey become one of the fastest growing geothermal markets. With a jump from 30 MW of installed capacity in 2008 to today around 650 MW, no country has seen a faster growth.

So we are thrilled to offer participants of the IGC Turkey, this field trip to several geothermal power plants in the region around Izmir.

The field trip is organized by Ormat Technologies, that has supplied turbines to the plants we are going to visit.
