ThinkGeoEnergy and its Spanish sister publication Piensa En Geotermia are wishing you and your families happy holidays and a successful and prosperous new year.

The past twelve months have seen some big changes for ThinkGeoEnergy.

In May we set up our Spanish-language service at PiensaGeotermia.com, which has now been serving our Spanish speaking readers and the geothermal industry in those markets.

In late September, we relaunched our Website and despite some challenges in the process of setting up the new site, things have been running smoothly since. This is also thanks to a great new web team, which has helped me overcome some difficulties along the way.

We now expect to launch the Geothermal Supplier & Business Directory in a new set-up in early January and you can expect a large media campaign for it. The directory will help companies in the industry to promote its business and services to the uniquely focused readership on ThinkGeoEnergy. At the same time it will also better showcase all the geothermal plants in the world on the Global Geothermal Power Plant Map.

There are many other things in the pipeline for next year, so stay tuned. We will definitely not stand still and continue our work to provide you with the most up to date and complete coverage on development in the geothermal energy world, with a clear focus on power generation and large scale direct use.

We encourage you to send us news you are missing via [email protected]. We also welcome guest articles, so if you want to publish something on the site, please don´t hesitate to contact us for details.

There are also things planned with the Job Portal, which hopefully provide a better set-up and service to the industry.

For now all to say is Happy Holidays and a successful new geothermal year.
