“Following an extensive evaluation, some additional correspondence with bidders, and three rounds of voting, the proposal submitted by Iceland was accepted by the Board as the winner. The board will now enter into negotiations to conclude an agreement to host WGC 2020 in Iceland.”

The Icelandic Geothermal Sector, the Iceland Geothermal Cluster and Iceland are extremely proud to receive the nomination from IGA to host WGC 2020.
