Two Developer's workshops will be offered plus a field trip to the Kizildere Geothermal Power Plant
The IGA Service Company will offer two developer’s workshops and a field trip to Kizildere Geothermal power plant within the framework of its cooperation with the International Finance Cooperation (IFC). Workshop No 1 on 18 November 2013 focuses on Geology and Exploration Drilling, Workshop No 2 on 19 November 2013 will focus on Geophysics and Geochemistry. Workshop topics include geological plays, geothermal reservoir characteristics in Turkey, borehole geomechanics, well design, drilling technologies, seismic methods, resistivity surveying and electromagnetic methods, water-rock interaction, isotope and gas geochemistry of geothermal systems. The registration fee for all three events booked together is about 200 Euro.
