The Geothermal Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean (GeoLAC) taking place Nov. 18-19, 2015 in Nicaragua announce opportunity of site visit to San Jacinto-Tizate geothermal power plant of Polaris Energy Nicaragua.

The organizers of the Geothermal Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean (GeoLAC) announce that Polaris Energy Nicaragua, the operator of the San Jacinto-Tizate geothermal power plant, will offer GEOLAC delegates the opportunity to visit the site on November 19th.  Situated in Leon approximately 90 minutes from the conference venue, the visit will provide unique insight into the operation of the geothermal plant which supplies 10% of Nicaragua’s energy demand.

Information on how to register for the site visit will be supplied on registration for GEOLAC. Please note the site visit is limited to 20 and seats will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
