The Iceland Geothermal Conference to be held March 5-8, 2013 will feature an extensive conference program, an exhibition, field trips to nearby geothermal plants and installations, as well as a brokerage event.

The Iceland Geothermal Initiative will be holding a large international conference to be held March 5-8, 2013 at the Harpa Conference Center in the center of the city of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland.

The overall theme of the Iceland Geothermal Conference is to share effective exploration methods, learn how to maximize the utilization of geothermal energy from veterans and explore ways to realize geothermal projects with less risk and higher profitability.

The conference is uniquely positioned in proximity to a region rich in geothermal. To maximize delegate’s experience field trips will be offered to selected geothermal areas close to Reykjavik as part of the program, an exhibition will be running during the conference days and on day 3 a geothermal brokerage event will be organized where participants provide opportunities for collaboration and business.

The event will feature an exhibition, field trips and a brokerage event. The conference features a wide and international program focused on exploration, realization and utilization for geothermal energy development.
