To promote new well cement, Trabits Group appoints new Business Development Director

Alaska-based Trabits Group appoints new Director of Business Development to promote its newly developed lightweight, zeolite-containing high temperature/high pressure geothermal well cement . The company developed it under a $2 million grant by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Alaska-based Trabits Group has announced that it has appointed Jodi M. King as Director of International and Domestic Business Development.  Ms. King is a graduate of California State University with both Bachelors and Master degrees.  She comes to Trabits Group from Baker Hughes where she served as Business Development Account Manager.  Prior to Baker Hughes Ms. King was the Business Development Account Manager for Elco Incorporated.  Ms. King has served two terms as Chairman of the San Joaquin Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute.  Ms. King will be based in Bakersfield, California.

Trabits Group has developed a lightweight, zeolite-containing high temperature/high pressure geothermal well cement under a $2,154,238 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).  The product is made using a patented method for intergrinding cement clinker and zeolite.  Trabits Group recently completed a full scale production run of the lightweight interground composite well cement in collaboration with Lehigh Hanson at the company’s Tehachapi, California cement manufacturing plant.
